The 12th Rural Tourism Festival of Jiangsu Province

The 12th Rural Tourism Festival of Jiangsu Province was officially held in Pukou District, Nanjing on June 9th. As a continuation of the “Charm of Jiangsu, Beauty of Countryside” of last year, this rural tourism festival launched a series of rural tourism activities of colorful and distinctive regional characteristics with a special focus on the introduction of key villages of rural tourism, display of cultural and creative products with rural characteristics, village property market, folk song performance. The publicity gallery set up in the opening ceremony on June 9th introduced the development of hundreds of rural tourism key villages in 13 districts and cities in Jiangsu in a vivid and lively manner, and displayed hundreds of cultural and creative products with rural characteristics, which has yielded a quite satisfactory result. With a large scale, diversified forms and long duration, this festival was expected to extend to the second half of the year and to carry out different theme activities at different time nodes to provide multiple options for a vast number of visitors.
