Zhenjiang 2-Day Tour to "Explore Yangtze River Culture and Experience Intangible Cultural Heritage”

Schedule:

Day 1: Visit Jiuli Scenic Area in the morning and Zhenjiang Vinegar Culture Museum in the afternoon, tour Xijin Ferry and stay in Xijin Ferry at night;

Day 2: Visit Baohua Mountain Scenic Area in the morning, Maoshan Scenic Area in the afternoon, and return.

Jiuli Scenic Area

Xijin Ferry Ancient Street

Xijin Ferry Ancient Street has Zhenjiang’s most cultural relics and historic sites in which they are well preserved and most concentrated, and it is the "cultural core" of Zhenjiang which is a famous historical and cultural city. At present, there are more than ten intangible cultural heritages in the ancient street, including Zhenjiang Hengshun Aromatic Vinegar brewing technique, Zhenjiang pot cover noodle cooking technique, Tai-ping Ni-jiaojiao, Sun-style Tai Chi, Tanglao Yizhengzhai plaster making technique and so on.

Baohua Mountain

Baohua Mountain is known for four wonders: “beauty of forest at the foot of the mountain, wonderful ridges and peaks, deep caves and valleys, and the spectacle of misty clouds”. Ancient trees, streams, shade, clouds, caves, springs and fallen leaves are all over the mountain. The content of negative oxygen ions in the air is as high as 20,000 per cubic centimeter, which makes it a natural oxygen bar. The Qianhua Ancient Village down the mountain, built in the architectural style of Ming and Qing Dynasties, is a living demonstration of Chinese folk culture such as acrobatics, conjuring tricks, great food and ancient city life.

Maoshan Mountain

Maoshan Mountain, with its ranges of peaks, clouds and mist, is famous for its magical legends.
