Nanjing Plum Blossom Hill

Plum Blossom Hill is located in the Ming Xiaoling Scenic Spot in Xuanwu District, Nanjing. It is an important part of the Zhongshan Scenic Spot, and it is also a famous scenic spot in China, the first batch of national-level scenic spots and the first batch of national 5A-level tourist attractions. Nanjing Plum Blossom Hill is known as “the best plum hill in the world”. Shanghai Dianshan Lake Plum Garden, Wuxi Plum Garden, and Wuhan East Lake Plum Garden are hailed as the four largest plum gardens in China, ranking first among the four plum gardens.

The plum garden of Plum Blossom Hill is famous for its unique varieties. There are many tourists enjoying the plum here. During the peak season, there are more than 100,000 people per day. With its unique natural and cultural advantages, Nanjing Plum Blossom Hill has attracted more and more tourists from home and abroad, which gradually become the cultural center of China’s plum blossoms, and has become the main venue of the Nanjing International Plum Blossom Festival.

There has been a tradition of cultivating plum trees on Plum Blossom Hill for more than 1,000 years, and there are now more than 30,000 plum trees on the hill. The flowering period of Nanjing plum blossom is from early March to mid-March each year. Plum blossoms of different colors, such as white, pink, and red, cover the entire mountain, creating an ocean of flowers. It is beautiful to watch in the near distance or in the distance. Photographers often stay here all day. The plum varieties here are also abundant. Among the more than 300 kinds of plum blossoms found and cultivated in the world, there are more than 200 kinds here, and many precious varieties are the best.
