Come to Xinghua for an Escape Trip

Li Zhong Water Forest Park is located in Li Zhong Town, Xinghua City, which adopts the three-dimensional model of “forest, pallet, ditch and fish” to form a unique landscape of “water in the forest, fish in the water, birds in the forest, and the river loop”.

It is also the largest man-made ecological forest in Jiangsu Province. If you are tired of the busy urban life, why not come to Li Zhong Water Forest Park to have an escape trip.

In the 1980s, the locals dug out a palletized lattice to reasonably develop the wasteland and planted pond fir, sequoia, and other tree species suitable for water growth on it. After over 30 years, more than 100,000 species of trees have grown into a tall, dense, and vibrant water-fir forest.

Here, you can walk through the park, breathe in the fresh air, go to the forest water alley, the boardwalk, and the Buyun Bridge, see the tall trees rise up to the sky, and enjoy the scenery with the characteristics of a modern water village. You can also take a raft in the scenic area, slowly paddle in the dense forest between the branches, and watch the frightened water birds perched on the forest water beach fluttering up and away, which is full of natural charm.

It is also a paradise for wildlife, where owls, wild ducks, egrets, black cuckoos, grass parrots, and mountain parrots, who would build up their nests here. At dusk, hundreds of birds return to their nests, covering the sky with a spectacular sight.
