A Summertime Tour to Xuzhou

Xuzhou is located at the intersection of the south and the north of China, so the natural scenery combines broadmindedness of the north and beauty of the south, boasting many mountains, lakes and parks.

Small South Lake Scenic Area

Small South Lake is mainly characterized by bridges and running water of traditional southern China (Jiangnan) style. There are scenic spots including “Qiuyun Park” (Park of Autumn Charm), “Fanyue Bridge” (Bridge of Moonlight), “Jieyou Bridge” (Worry-free Bridge) and so on.

Weishan Lake Qiandao Wetlands

Weishan Lake Qiandao Wetland is located in Pei County, Xuzhou. Weishan Lake, with magnificent scenery, is the largest freshwater lake in the north of China. The Qiandao Wetlands scenic area is home to many original water, swamps and paddy fields, which reflects both the grand feel of northern water towns and the delicate and elegant spirit in southern ones. Besides, the Beijing-Hangzhou Grand Canal passes through the lake, forming a unique view of “canal on the lake”.

Fengminghai Scenic Area

Fengminghai Scenic Area is located in Jiawang District, Xuzhou. The water area is about 27 hectares, and there are two beautiful white bridges on the water surface. Standing on the bridges, you can feast your eyes with fascinating view of lakes and mountains, including grotesque stones in the south and Fengming Valley in the north.
