It is located in the northwest of Yaxi Town, Gaochun District, Nanjing City, Jiangsu Province, and the east of Youzishan National Forest Park. It is a national AAAA-level tourist scenic spot, China’s best ecological leisure resort, and China’s top ten of villages and towns for slow lifestyle travel. In November 2010, it was officially awarded the title of “City of International Slow Lifestyle” by the Organization of World Slow Lifestyle City.
The Yaxi International Slow Lifestyle Vocational Area is 48 kilometers long and covers an area of 80 square kilometers, of which the core area is 50 square kilometers.
