Qinshan Island is located in the Ganyu District, Lianyungang City, Jiangsu Province. It is on the Yellow Sea with 15.3 kilometers east of Ganyu District, and it covers an area of 0.1928 square kilometers. The whole island is long and narrow, with a single-sided mountain shape, 1000 meters long from east to west and 200 meters wide. It is divided into three peaks of east, middle and west.
Because the First Emperor of Qin had come here to climb and pay tribute to the sea, it was named Qinshan Island. There are many scenic spots on the island. There are more than 20 major scenic spots such as Millennium Ancient Pavilion, Li Si Monument, Xu Fu Well, Tianfei Palace, Shouzhu Block, Qindong Gate and Ancient Fort Block. Among them, Qindong Gate is more than 10 meters high and presents a splendid sight. It has always been known as the “Qinshan Ancient Island and Yellow Sea Wonderland”.
Affected by the long-term impact of the waves, and the rise and fall of the sea level during the historical period, Qinshan Island experienced several vicissitudes of life evolution, forming a colorful natural landscape, blue sea and blue sky, and beautiful scenery.
When the tide recedes and walking through the magical offshore road with about 20 kilometers in length, you can see the white fluorite, the red bloodstone, the green quartz, the orange yellow, the black gray, and the purple blue, etc. Please don’t forget to wear the platform, non-slip and wear-resistant shoes!
Climbing on the summit of the east, west and middle of Qinshan Island, you will watch the magnificent sea and sky with full of mist and rain. If you are lucky, you can also witness the magic illusion of the Qinshan mirage. There are hotels and canteens on the island, and it is also suitable for tour pals to sleep in the open.

Transportation: You can take the Xinpu-Ganyu bus to get off at the North Bus Station of Ganyu, change to the bus No. 2 bus or the Qingkou-Zhewang line to the reception area of Qinshan Island Scenic Spot in Songkou Village, then take the boat to the island.
