Yixing bamboo sea scenery spot is located in the southern mountains of Yixing, which is located at the junction of Jiangsu, Zhejiang and Anhui provinces. Since ancient times, Yixing bamboo sea has been called “the sea of bamboo”. Bamboo forest is everywhere. It is green and spreads over 800 miles, forming a sea of jade. The sightseeing area is up to 10,000 acres.
The scene of the scenery spot is pleasant with beautiful hills and waters. Within a day, between the four seasons, god makes the scene which is too beautiful to be absorbed all at once.
There are ten scenes of bamboo sea: “Beautiful scene in the mirror lake”, “Ode to bamboo by Dongpo”, “ Slide over the water on the cable bridge”,“First peak in south Jiangsu”, “Smoke wave in the sea bottom”, “Silent temple”, “Waterfall in the bamboo forest”, “Peaceful path with hundreds of bamboos”, “The moon in the bamboo shades” and “Jade gallery”. Among them, some are magnificent, some are profound, and some are labyrinthic, and they all have their own characteristics.
There is “Craspedacusta”which is known as “Giant panda in water”. Along the hiking trail, there is a “Natural oxygen bar” with a negative oxygen ion content of 100, 000 per cubic centimeter. There are sea scenic spot of “the pine shade of a bamboo forest is more quiet and the crack of stones vomit a cold snap”, and a direct peak of 1,500 meters, with a ropeway that can hold 5,000 people each day. No matter strolling in a car around the bamboo forest to enjoy the profound feeling of “sitting alone in the forest”, or taking the ropeway in the green trees to feel the lofty sentiments of “ list of small hills” , they are both great experience.
March to May is the best time to visit here. The wind swaying, the bamboo shadow whirling, or the murmur of the stream, or the cool breeze, or the birdsong, or the tea tasting and articles discussing, the bamboo sea is the tourist attraction that you can return to nature and heart.
