Xiangtang Village, one of the "ten pearls" of Nanjing's beautiful villages in Pukou District, is located at the foot of Laoshan Mountain. It is surrounded by mountains on all sides and has beautiful scenery and fresh air. Because it sits deep in the mountains, the village is peaceful and quiet like a beautiful landscape painting.
In the village, there is a place called Xiangtang Peach Valley where a large number of peach trees are planted. When the peach flowers are in full blossom, the view is stunning. The rice fields there are beautiful and scenic. Walking on the ridge of the field, looking at the distant mountains, blue sky and white clouds, it is breathtakingly picturesque.
At the edge of the village is the 24-acre Xiangtang Reservoir. The water in it is as bright as a mirror and the green hills are reflected, just like a pearl of the world inlaid in the village. Behind the village, there is a hiking trail that few people know about, which leads directly to the peak of Yingzui Mountain.
