Five Lakes in Xiangcheng District, Suzhou

Xiangcheng is a typical water town, which embraces Yangcheng Lake in the east and Taihu Lake in the west. Therefore, if you came to Xiangcheng, the “Five Lakes” is a must-go route.

Yanfcheng Lake

Xiangcheng has two-thirds of the water surface of Yangcheng Lake and is rich in aquatic resources, which also be called “town of hairy crab in China”

North Taihu Lake

In the “Wheat Town”, Wangting, there is the vast North Taihu Lake. The lights of the flat boat in the middle of the lake are shaking, and you can listen to a fishman song in a boat.

Shengze Lake

Shengze Lake, regarded as a model of water management in Xiangcheng, has birds flying and playing. The blue sky and the lake blend into one, attractive and charming.

Caohu

The developed waterway transportation has formed a unique water culture here. It’s very enjoyable to rent a bike and ride with your family to explore the lake, or take a leisurely walk on the trail.

Chunshen Lake

Chunshen Lake is one of the relics of Chunshen’s embankment cofferdam. It has the characteristics both of Jiangnan water village and modern European landscape features, which is a hot place for shooting wedding photos.
