Changguangxi National Wetland Park is located in the Taihu Lake New Town of Wuxi. It neighbors Junzhang Mountain and Xuelang Mountain to the west, Taihu Lake to the south, and Lihu Lake to the north. It is an ecological corridor connecting the Taihu Lake and the Lihu lake and is compared to the kidney of the two lakes. It is 10 kilometers long and covers an area of about 260 hectares, including a water area of about 80 hectares. A landscape pattern combining hills, wetlands, and rivers lakes, it has been blessed with the natural beauty of wetland since ancient times and known as a watery land and paradise for water birds. Today, it’s a national ecological wetland park with functions in ecological conservation, leisure, science communication and humanities.
