Century-Old Shop-Dear Moon 得月楼

Dear Moon, located in Suzhou City, Jiangsu Province, has a history of more than four hundred years.  Tracing back to more than two hundred years ago, many writers wrote poems dedicated to it, and then after the emperor of that time had his meals here, for its dishes tasted so fresh and delicious that he offered it the name of “The First Restaurant in the World.”

The overall architectural decoration of Dear Moon is very simple and elegant. With white wall and black tiles as well as overhanging eaves and rale angles, it does have the classical characteristics of Suzhou. Its interior decoration also retains a lot of antique elements.
