Recently, the Outstanding Cases and Awarding Ceremony of “2022-2023 Great Wall Culture and Tourism Branding Awards” was held at MGM Cotai in Cotai, Macau, and the gold, silver and bronze awards as well as outstanding cases of international communication were officially announced. The "Great Wall Culture and Tourism Branding Awards" is the first official event in the field of culture and tourism promotion and communication in China launched by the industry's prestigious award "Great Wall Awards". “Charm of Jiangsu" Global Communication Center was selected as one of the outstanding international communication cases of the "Great Wall Culture and Tourism Branding Awards" and won the bronze award of the “2022-2023 Great Wall Culture and Tourism Branding Awards".
Co-established by Jiangsu Provincial Department of Culture and Tourism and Xinhua News & Information Center, the "Charm of Jiangsu" Global Communication Center created the international communication case of culture and tourism branding for Jiangsu Province as an innovative example of international communication for culture and tourism brand in Jiangsu Province. With a multi-faceted international communication matrix of "one center and four bases", "N+" creative content planning, and a number of offline activities and other systematic promotion, it writes a new chapter of Jiangsu's stories and helps to build Jiangsu into a world-class tourist destination.
Since its launch in December 2021, the "Charm of Jiangsu" Global Communication Center has gradually set up a comprehensive, many-faceted and effective "Charm of Jiangsu” cultural tourism brand as well as overseas communication system for tourism products under the four-in-one scientific guidance and promotion of "key activities + integrated media content production + theme planning for international communication + digital cultural assets", to create a replicable and exemplary international communication model for cultural tourism.
Tea and the World - "Charm of Jiangsu" International Photography Project
At present, the Center has organized a few photography projects themed on "tea and the world", "the most beautiful spring", "the most beautiful autumn", "the most beautiful field" and so on that invited more than 20 international mainstream media photographers and famous photographers to record the "Charm of Jiangsu" with their lenses, and published many articles on the famous media platforms like the Times, the Daily Telegraph, the European Press Agency and other well-known media at home and abroad. Through the Xinhua News Agency's global communication network, the Center also created high-quality international themed articles, such as "Where are the Magical Animals", "Five Ways to Enjoy the Charm of Jiangsu in Winter", "Happy Spring Festival" and "Museum Day". The English magazine "Jiangsu Glimpses" has published four quarterly issues of spring, summer, autumn and winter, as well as the top ten inbound tour routes and tea culture themed magazines, which are available in airports, high-speed rail stations, embassies and foreigner-friendly hotels in key cities across the country, to continuously introduce Jiangsu's cultural and tourism resources and travel tips to foreign tourists and expatriates in China.

International Articles of "Where are the Magical Animals?”
A series of international cultural salons of "Charm of Jiangsu" have been held to promote the excellent culture that features Chinese characteristics, reflects the Chinese spirit and contains the Chinese wisdom by building a platform for cross-cultural dialog and exchange. Overseas social media influencers are invited to produce themed videos, plan or invite people to design inbound tour routes and film their travel experience, provide think-tank analysis reports and reference for decision-making. These initiatives have comprehensively enhanced the influence and reputation of the "Charm of Jiangsu" brand in the international tourism market, providing strong support for the high-quality development and integration of culture and tourism in Jiangsu.
