Wuxi Chinese Stone Appreciation Garden

Wuxi Chinese Stone Appreciation Garden is a collection of exquisite fossils, mineral crystals, rare stones, precious jade and other resources.  It integrates traditional culture, stone appreciation culture and garden culture of regions south of the Yangtze River with the functions of exhibition and trade, popular science training, appraisal and auction, electronic commerce, conference and exhibition, etc.

Wu culture is closely related to Chinese stone appreciation culture. The land of Wu in the south of the Yangtze River, the shore of Taihu Lake, is an important inheritance and prosperity of stone culture. Wu’s paintings, calligraphy, poetry, gardens, architecture and so on are all inseparable from stone. This stone garden aims to promote stone culture and Wu culture. As the largest stone garden in China, it is jointly built by China Wu Culture Expo Park and China Ornamental Stone Association.

The Chinese Stone Appreciation Garden is located at the north entrance of the main functional area of China Wu Culture Expo Park, covering an area of 145,000 square meters. The garden is divided into three parts: the stone museum, Xunbao city and the stone appreciation garden. In the stone museum, more than 1,000 pieces of foreign and domestic exquisite ornamental stones are displayed, covering five categories of sculpted stones, patterned stones, mineral crystals, petrochemical stones and special stones. Taobao City is the most premium stone market in China. In the stone appreciation garden, people can appreciate the stones and experience the charm of Wu culture in the south of the Yangtze River.

Chinese Stone Appreciation Garden is now a comprehensive base for ornamental stones in China, and successfully created a national AAAA scenic spot in 2013.
