Accelerate the Full Recovery of Cultural Tourism! 2023 "Charm of Jiangsu - More Beautiful with You" Cultural Tourism Promotion Campaign Launched

On March 18, in order to speed up the full recovery of the cultural tourism market and constantly promote the transformation, expansion and upgrading of cultural and tourism consumption province-wide, the launching ceremony of 2023 "Charm of Jiangsu - More Beautiful with You" Cultural Tourism Promotion Campaign was held in Nianhua Bay, Wuxi. The Campaign was co-organized by Jiangsu Provincial Department of Culture and Tourism, Jiangsu Development & Reform Commission, Department of Commerce of Jiangsu Province, and Wuxi Municipal People's Government.

It is reported that the third "Charm of Jiangsu - More Beautiful with You" Cultural Tourism Promotion Campaign has launched more than 500 activities in 14 themes, with a total of over 887 million views, effectively stimulating the consumption potential of cultural tourism market in Jiangsu.

This Promotion Campaign will continue the zeal of the third Campaign in 2022, with the theme of "Embrace Spring Together", to coordinate the province's cultural and tourism administrative departments and related cultural and tourism companies and institutions, e-commerce platforms, new media platforms, financial institutions, and to launch "1+16+N" activities, which will last until the end of this year.

During the consumption promotion, the province will hold 348 cultural and tourism events around the province, such as flower appreciation, Chinese fad, fine food, camping and other themes, to provide tourists with high-quality, more affordable travel options. Meanwhile, generous "gift packages” are given out to benefit the people, including 268 preferential policies such as cultural and tourism consumption vouchers, discounts, and annual travel cards etc.

At the launching ceremony, Jiangsu Provincial Department of Culture and Tourism signed a contract with 10 financial institutions, including Bank of Ningbo, Bank of Jiangsu and WeChat Pay etc, to jointly launch the "Charm of Jiangsu - Digital RMB Application Promotion" campaign. The senior executives from Trip.com Group, Meituan, Tongcheng Travel and Gaode platform released the updated statistics of cultural tourism in Jiangsu and the preferential policies of e-commerce platform to promote cultural tourism consumption in 2023. "Charm of Jiangsu - Investigatory Visit of 100 Travel Agencies" was also launched at the site. A hundred important people from domestic travel e-commerce and travel agencies in major provinces of tourist source will visit Jiangsu’s 13 districts and cities respectively.

At the site, awarding ceremonies were also held for the pilot project of digital RMB application scenarios for culture and tourism in Jiangsu Province, the second batch of Jiangsu Province cultural and tourism consumption quick payment demonstration area, the third batch of Jiangsu provincial night culture and tourism consumption clusters, the second batch of Jiangsu Province cultural and tourism consumption demonstration units.
