The 36th Hong Kong International Travel Expo

The 36th Hong Kong International Travel Expo was held for four consecutive days (August 18 to August 21) at the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Center. This year it is honored that Mr. John KC LEE, the Chief Executive (CE) of Hong Kong Special Administrative Region, sent his Message to welcome ITE participants!  Mr YEUNG Yun-hung, Kevin, Secretary for Culture, Sports and Tourism Bureau of the HKSAR Government, officiated as the Guest of Honor, consuls and representatives of the tourism industry attended the ceremony.

The scale of this year is larger than last year, with more than 100 exhibitors from 32 countries and regions participating, allowing the industry to connect with business partners through the travel exhibition and promote the recovery of the tourism industry. During the 4-day exhibition, the number of visitors was about 33,000, an increase of 15% year-on-year.

The booth of Jiangsu Tourism (Hong Kong and Macau) Marketing Center is located at G116, and the staff will distribute Jiangsu brochures, itinerary leaflets, scenic spot brochures, etc. to exhibitors and the public. Those who “like” the “Jiangsu Travel” Facebook page or fill out the questionnaire will receive a small gift. Many visitors expressed their expectation that Hong Kong and the mainland can be exempted from compulsory quarantine as soon as possible, consulted the latest information on tourism in Jiangsu. . After customs clearance, they can travel to various cities in Jiangsu Province to enjoy beautiful scenery, taste food and learn more about Jiangsu culture.
