Nanjing Forest Music Festival

The 5th Nanjing Forest Music Festival in 2019 with musician Tan Dun, St. Petersburg Symphony Orchestra, violinist Lv Siqing, Czech Philharmonic Orchestra and so on will be held at 19:30 on September 13th to 15th, 21st to 22nd.

On September 13th, the world-renowned composer and conductor Tan Dun will join hands with Hanggai Band and Suzhou Symphony Orchestra at the opening ceremony of “The Symphony of the Forest”.

September 14th – The Melody of the Forest: The Hungarian Radio Symphony Orchestra Concert

September 15th – The Moonlight of the Forest: St. Petersburg Symphony Orchestra Concert

The two world-class symphony groups will bring a passionate classical music feast to the audience for two consecutive nights.

September 21st – The Whispers of the Forest: Lv Siqing violin concert

He will join hands with the young pianist Lu Jingyi to present a heart-warming concert.

September 22nd – The Meet of the Forest: Czech Philharmonic Orchestra and Jiangsu Symphony Orchestra Concert

This year is the 70th anniversary of the founding of the People’s Republic of China and is also the 70th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between PRC and the Czech Republic.

This festival will be held in the Sun Yat-sen Mausoleum Music Stage in the Sun Yat-sen Mausoleum Scenic Area in Xuanwu District. The wide space and natural sound make it one of the most attractive outdoor music performance spots in China.
