Zhouzhuang Mid-Autumn Lantern Festival

From September 12th to October 8th, the Mid-Autumn Lantern Festival with the theme of “Flowers Blossom and Lights On” will start in Zhouzhuang Ancient Town and Huiju Square of Kunshan Development District!

There are 29 groups of lights in the ancient town scenic spot. Combining traditional lanterns with modern light art, the festival focuses on the “fishing”, “cultivating” and “harmony” sections to tell humanism and folk stories and celebrate the 70th anniversary of the founding of the People’s Republic of China.

There are 14 light groups in Xiangcun Qizhuang. Based on the theme of “Fruit Story”, it creates a warm and idyllic paradise through traditional lanterns, showing the farming, folk customs and culture of countryside.

In the Xianjiang Bay and Nanhu Bay, in addition to traditional lanterns, water mist, water screen, laser projection, LED lights and other high-tech means will be used to create splendid water and light show to draw the original nightlife of Zhouzhuang in the water town.

In order to improve watch and travel experience, some amazing activities of the themed weeks are coming. The themed salons in the week of country house will be held in the folk hostels in Xiangcun Qizhuang and Jijiadun. And we invite some celebrities in tourism, Tik Tok and photograph to explore the folk houses and introduce the traditional culture of Zhouzhuang in a fun way.
