“If you divide the world's moonlight into three parts, Yangzhou has two.” The millennium-old Yangzhou is a city famous for bright moon, canals and gardens. It is also a rising cultural complex integrating performances, exhibitions, business, leisure, and gardens on the shore of Mingyue Lake.

Named after the Grand Canal, Grand Canal Theatre, Yangzhou, China is a landmark building showcasing Yangzhou's canal culture. Located on the shore of Mingyue Lake, the theatre is decorated with the sparkling lake, and the majestic archway makes it even more striking.

As night falls, the theatre shines a dazzling light, like a bright gem against the background of a river. It adds shining cultural appeal to the business district of Mingyue Lake.

On the west side of the theatre is the functional area. As a new window to showcase the Grand Canal culture, the theatre has four performance halls designed with the themes of spring flowers, summer bamboos, autumn leaves and winter snow, to display canal culture in four seasons. The internal space of the theatre is spacious and beautifully decorated. The theatre also has a 1600-seat opera house, 800-seat drama theatre, 300-seat multi-functional theatre and 500-seat opera theatre.
