Linggu Temple, Osmanthus Fragrance

After entering the Hong Shan Men of Linggu Scenic Spot, one can smell the faint fragrance of Osmanthus along the Osmanthus Corridor. Each golden autumn, thousands of Osmanthus fragrans are in full bloom in Linggu Temple, a thousand-year-old ancient temple in Nanjing. The Centenary King of Osmanthus has quietly accumulated strength and is bound to bring splendor to Jinling. The “King of Osmanthus” is situated in the grand lawn on the north side of Wuliangdian. The age of a tree is over 100 years, which belongs to the golden Osmanthus variety. The trunk diameter is approximately 1 m with the height of over 6 m. The crown diameter reaches over 7 m, displaying its unique King Style. Standing in front of the tree, the tourists can enjoy the full-bodied fragrance of Osmanthus.
