Tiger Hill Scenic Spot

Everybody has a different Suzhou city in his or her mind. But nobody else knows Suzhou better than Tiger Hill. Tiger Hill crosses time and witnesses the vicissitudes of Suzhou over the past two thousand and five hundred years. Embracing the fascinating natural landscape as well as defending several thousand years’ history of Suzhou, it tells the never-changing feelings of gardens in the mind of Suzhou people. Even Su Shi, a great literary giant in the Song Dynasty, said “It’s a pity not to visit the Tiger Hill when travelling in Suzhou”. The Tiger Hill Pagoda, lying at the top of the Tiger Hill, is the earliest, largest and most delicately built pagoda that exists in the Jiangnan area. Its top is 2.34 meters away from the center. The Tiger Hill Pagoda, known as the “Leaning Tower of China”, has become the landmark of the ancient city of Suzhou.
