In the northwest of Xuzhou, there is a “Kidney of the Earth,” namely, the Jiu Li Lake National Wetland Park. Jiu Li Lake, as the first “Ecological Wetland Park” in Xuzhou, makes the ancient city of Xuzhou form a landscape pattern of “Yunlong Mountain, Yunlong Lake in the South, Jiuli Mountain and Jiuli Lake in the North.” At present, the area of the scenic spot totals 3,000 mu, covering three lakes: Southeast Lake, West Lake, and Xiaobei Lake. On either side of the road, the three lakes are looking at each other with Xufeng Road as the central axis.
The major scenic spot of Southeast Lake is exquisite and elegant, which is surrounded by pavilions and water gardens, curved bridges and flower pergola to embellish the lake surface, and you can be amused by frolicking about the water in the semi-circular near-water platform, and you can also enjoy the primitive simplicity and nature near the water dolly ways. The scenic spot has excellent ecology with clear lake and luxuriant grass. The waterfowls pass by from time to time, and there are fishes jumping in the waves to play, looking for rare natural ecological interest in the city.
The West Lake is unique in its spaciousness, thus transforming the ecological beauty into the natural environment. With the modern texture materials as the major materials, the landscape architecture has a broad view. Dai-style wooden houses are located on the green grass slopes, and the dynamic corridor is built near the water with beautiful landscape. The waterfront platform gradually enters the lake. The wooden corridors and pavilions are built around the garden, and the labyrinth and flower corridor areas are fantastic.
